Synopsis of the Course Content
Human Anatomy is a science that studies normal people’s structure, and is included in the morphology of biological science. The studying object is human beings. Only having a enough recognition of the structure of human beings, students can correctly understand the physiological functions and pathological phenomenon of humans, judge the normal and abnormal of people, tell the difference between physiology and pathology and therefore give a right diagnosis and treatment of diseases involved. Thus, human anatomy is a very important basic medical science. On the other hand, one third of medical vocabulary arises from anatomy, and it is actually a subject that should be learned in the first place among all the medical disciplines. The human anatomy is classified into systematic anatomy and regional anatomy as well. As far as nursing is concerned, systematic anatomy is the main focus, and the regional anatomy should also be learn as well, but not in detail. Systematic anatomy elaborates the structures of humans based on every functional system. Regional anatomy relates the composition of each part and the relationship with others based on the location of human structures, going from the easy to the difficult and complicated.
